RAW 2008 Aboriginal Women's Calendar is a product of Mundanjara Productions, Australia's Premier Indigenous Production Company.


"RAW 2008 Reflects the beauty and Diversity of Australia's Aboriginal People. This calendar is not like any that have been produced in the past as it's not a girls in bikinis focused calendar, its about the rich culture we have in Australia, and apart of our vision to show case Aboriginal Australia to the world RAW will also feature Aboriginal creations from jewellery to fashion design including styles ranging from traditional to modern to swimwear".

RAW 2008 was the is the response to numerous requests from beautiful young Aboriginal women who have the potential but not the confidence needed to enter into the entertainment industry. The calendar offers the opportunity for young women to experience the beauty and demands of the modelling industry and artists the opportunity to have their artworks promoted over a 12-month period to an international audience.

 RAW reflect's the beauty and diversity of Australia’s Aboriginal peoples featuring some of Australia’s most beautiful and recognised Aboriginal models and showcases local Aboriginal creations from jewellery to fashion design including styles from traditional to swimwear.

RAW features some of Australia's most established Aboriginal models that have collaboratively featured in Australian Swimsuit Calendar, L'Oreal Campaigns, Black Entertainment Television (BET) and Australia's Next Top Model.

Not only are the models gorgeous but they are also community people, including founders and managers of Aboriginal Organisations, NAIDOC Award recipients and traditional dancers.

Proceeds from RAW 2008 go towards Future projects for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Youth.
